What makes a gym screen useful? A message that fits the area, the time of day and what a member can do next. UrbanLoop connects your content to Apple TV displays and gives your team a repeatable way to maintain it.

Give each screen a clear job.

A member walking through reception needs a different message from someone waiting for a class. Start with the location and the next useful action, then choose the content.

Recovery and shared areasUpcoming events, club news and short, approved coaching content.Join an event or speak to a coach.
Retail or refreshment counterProducts, drinks, meal options and current promotions.Choose a product or order at the counter.

Keep prices, availability and offer dates accurate. If you show member photos or stories, use material the people involved have agreed you can display.

Plan around the gym day.

Morning regulars, lunchtime visitors and evening classes may need different information. Use slide and playlist schedules to choose when each message is eligible to appear. Give temporary offers an end date.

A TV can use more than one playlist. Keep everyday information available and add a separate playlist for an event or seasonal campaign. Review the rules on both the playlists and their slides, then check the actual screen at the intended time.

Use power-save schedules for planned off-hours and check the physical display settings too. App blanking and switching a TV off are different things.

Make updates part of the staff routine.

Use Google Slides for notices staff edit together, a selected Google Drive folder for supported files, or prepared images and videos. Your team can manage the screens from the web or the iPhone, iPad and Mac management apps. Apple TV runs the display app.

Choose a person responsible for removing old notices and checking dates, spelling and booking details. Preview a change, save the source and allow time for processing and delivery. Then verify it on a screen.

Keep a shared identity and useful local details.

Across several gyms, share a campaign while tailoring class information, offers, products and opening hours to each branch. Sites and curator access help organize the locations and the people maintaining them.

Use TV groups for changes that should apply to a reviewed set of TVs. A studio, reception and staff-room display can have different content and settings, even within the same gym.

Check the experience from the member’s point of view.

  • Read the message from the distance people will actually view it. Use a short headline and a clear next step.
  • Prepare for muted playback. If sound is appropriate, check the level in that space.
  • Allow enough time to read an offer or class notice before the next item.
  • Use fresh captures and content-status checks to inspect remote playback. Physical checks still matter for visibility, sound and the TV input.
  • Keep timetables and booking details in a source someone owns. A screen cannot correct an outdated source.

Start with one useful display.

Choose the screen with the clearest job, prepare a short playlist and follow the first-screen setup guide. Check one complete rotation before repeating the setup elsewhere.
